Sport, either public or private has a great number of events at all levels local, provincial, regional and national. We must highlight the "Trofeos Ciudad" - City Trophies - of El Puerto de Santa Maria in different sports, golf, soccer, swimming, etc., a total of 20 sporting events. Highlighting also the International Nautical Week and the Regatta of Juan de la Cosa, besides the multiple and diverse Andalusian and Spanish Championships that take place annually in our city.
